European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018

Last December, at the European Cultural Forum in Milan,started the celebrations for the European Year of Cultural Heritage 2018 took place.

A year to discover our cultural heritage, in all its material, immaterial and digital manifestations, as an expression of European cultural diversity and a central element of intercultural dialogue.

A year to reflect and talk about the value that cultural heritage has for our society and to show everyone its importance in the different sectors of public and private life.

A year to enjoy our heritage by learning to take care of it.

–  23-26 March, Conference on Heritage and Identity – Call for papers;

– From the 27th to 29th September 2017 in Lucca (Italy), the Council of Europe’s Cultural Routes Programme celebrated its 30th anniversary on the occasion of the 7th Advisory Forum on Cultural Routes of the Council of Europe;

European Culture Forum 2017;

– Creative Europe-funded, Creative Lenses, launched a survey on business model in art and cultural organizations;

Congratulation to the Museo Internazionale delle Marionette “Antonio Pasqualino” of Palermo, which won the 28th Award ICOM Italia  Museum of the Year 2017.
