SOLUZIONIMUSEALI ims for Amalia Del Ponte
We had the pleasure to work for the exhibition of Amalia Del Ponte Onde lunghe e brevissime at the Studio Museum Francesco Messina in Milan, exhibition curated by Eleonora Fiorani.
An exhibition of great emotional impact thanks to the works and videos of the Milanese sculptor who was awarded in 1973 the prestigious First International Prize for Sculpture of the Biennale of Sao Paulo, Brazil.
The search for Amalia Del Ponte, a pupil of Marino Marini in Brera, is characterized by a profound scientific interest. Few are the artist’s figurative works, since she was soon attracted to search into the relationship between forms in space, visual perception, and ultimately sound production.
In the exhibition at the Studio Museo Francesco Messina, at the completion of the exhibition that will continue until September at the Museum 900 in Milan, three works have been exhibited by Del Ponte: “Aria della freccia”, “Consonanze” and “macina” The lithophones on which she concentrated her researche between 1985 and 1995.
In the next newsletter an interview with the Artist.
